Ashdown FA 180H The Fallen Angel 180 head delivers a range of saturated, singing lead voices while still retaining masses of low end grunt for chugging power chords - great for 7 string players. With many tube amps you only get the best solo voice when the output stage is close to working flat out. Then, it's often too loud so some kind of a power soak device is needed, which saps power when you need it for heavy rhythm work. With the Fallen Angel 180, the solo voice comes from a cleverly designed tube preamp so you don't have to run flat out to get a great sound. But when you do crank it up, a 180 watt output stage with no less than six EL34 tubes is there on tap to do the business. A 4-way footswitch with LED indication on a single jacl lead selects Channel 1/2, Channel 2 Boost, Master1/2 and FX Loop In/Out. Front Panel Back Panel
